After visiting a boat show 17 years ago, I became very interested in ocean kayaking.
For the first couple of years I had no formal training and through trial and error I learned the hard
way about the importance of being properly trained. I decided to get serious about kayaking and I
enrolled in various programs throughout the country which has taught me the important techniques
that make kayaking even more enticing and exciting to me today and draws me back to the water
every moment possible... whether it's Spring, Summer, Autumn or even Winter... if the sun is
shining, I'll be paddling and it's always a real treat of a day!!
